“We were never shown a tour or how cigars are made...it was basically being shown the display of cigars and then haggling over prices and then we were taken to a souvenir shop with no prices and were overcharged on everything, essentially because we’re American and where we were staying. I would normally never say that, but it was clear he thought we had brought all kinds of money to spend and increased all prices on cigars and souvenirs. I paid $150 for souvenirs that are probably worth $30. It was in a very sketchy part of town also, which didn’t help. I just paid the money so we could…”
